Pomegranate and Fertility
A recent study in Clinical Nutrition reports that drinking pomegranate juice may be beneficial to sperm. The juice improved markers for fertility in male rats, including motility and sperm count, and decreased the number of abnormal sperm. Antioxidants in pomegranates may guard against damage to the fatty acids in sperm, which are essential for fertility.

"Infertility is a common problem and is defined as a couple who have not conceived after 12 months of contraceptive free intercourse if the female is under the age of 34, or 6 months if the female is over the age of 35.
