Vitawomenz contains a unique blend of essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants designed to support female health from pre-conception right through to the end of your pregnancy. Made in NZ
Developed right here in New Zealand Vitawomenz contains a unique blend of essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants including Folic Acid, Iodine, Iron, Omega 3 and Vitamin D. All ingredients have been clinically researched by fertility specialists to support conception and pregnancy health for both mother and baby.
Even with the most dedicated diet, it’s difficult to ensure you’re getting the necessary nutrients for you and your baby. Vitawomenz has been designed with this in mind, making nutrition easy by supporting female health from pre-conception right through to the end of your pregnancy.
What are the ingredients in Vitawomenz?
Vitawomenz is a combination of Vitamins, Minerals and Antioxidants all designed for conception and pregnancy health, both for mothers and babies. Vitawomenz contains many different key ingredients to optimally support your conception and pregnancy health.
Importantly Vitawomenz contains 500µg of Folic Acid.
Women that are planning a pregnancy or who are in the early stages of pregnancy are advised to take at least 400µg of Folic Acid four weeks before pregnancy and up to twelve weeks after.
Supplementing with 400µg is sufficient to support healthy foetal brain development.
Studies on the Ministry of Health website show that folic acid can help ensure healthy development of babies in early pregnancy when taken at least one month before conception and for 12 weeks after conceiving.

Iron is also another critical element within Vitawomenz. According to the New Zealand Ministry of Health, 40% of women aged 15 – 44 years have an inadequate intake of Iron. Adequate iron stores in pre-pregnancy play a role in reducing risk for iron deficiency and anaemia during pregnancy. Sub-optimal iron stores are difficult to replenish once pregnant.
Iodine requirements when pregnant also increase due to a marked change in thyroid function. It is recommended that the requirement for pregnant women be at a level of 200mcg per day, which is the volume contained in one capsule of Vitawomenz.
